Now Booking The Class of 2027

Hi there! I'm Jess, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome to Seniors with Jess Alexander Photography, your Colorado home for authentic, personality-filled senior portraits. From golden mountain mornings in Summit County to the colorful, energetic corners of Denver, I’m all about creating images that feel real, fun, and true to you.
Your senior year is a milestone, and your photos should reflect who you are right now. Every session starts with an in-person consultation so we can get to know each other, talk through your vision, and design a session that feels like you. Whether you're laid-back, bold, outdoorsy, sporty, artsy, or a little mix of everything, you get to lead the way.
I offer three types of senior sessions, each designed for different needs and styles. Pick the one that feels right, and if you’re unsure, no stress, we’ll figure it out together during your complimentary planning session.

Your Story, Your Style...
Which Senior Session Is Right for You?

The Senior
Our most popular, all-inclusive experience

This session is fully tailored to you. Choose your favorite locations (most permits included), and we’ll bring your ideas to life in a relaxed, creative way.
Your final gallery includes a minimum of 50 hand-edited images delivered in a beautifully curated, shareable digital album. You’ll also receive a $100 print credit to put toward artwork, albums, or keepsakes.
As a bonus, The Senior includes a 20-minute petite family session to use anytime during your senior year; perfect for holiday cards or “last year before college” memories.
Session Fee is $850

The Senior Seasons
For the senior who wants it all... Multiple looks, multiple vibes, one unforgettable year
The Senior Seasons experience is designed for seniors who want their story told across the entire year. With multiple sessions spread throughout different seasons, we capture every side of you; summer sunshine, fall color, winter magic, spring energy, and everything in between.
Each session is fully personalized, allowing you to explore different styles, locations, and moods. Whether it’s mountain mornings, city lights, or cozy winter streets, every shoot celebrates a different chapter of your senior year.
You’ll receive a beautifully curated digital gallery featuring hand-edited images from each session, plus a generous print credit to create albums, wall art, or graduation announcements.
This is the most immersive and dynamic way to document your senior year—from start to finish.
Session Fee is $1300

Just the Yearbook
Short, simple, and polished—perfect for the essentials
Just the Yearbook is ideal for seniors who need a clean, classic yearbook portrait without the full session experience. This weekday-only option (available in Highlands Ranch) gives you a relaxed 30 minutes to capture a timeless, professional look that meets your school’s requirements.
You’ll receive a gallery of 20 hand-edited images, from which you can select 5 favorites to download. Additional images are available for purchase if you’d like more variety.
This session is easy, efficient, and high-quality—no stress, no big production, just great photos.
Session Fee $250

When should I schedule my complimentary consultation?
Now! Let’s get the fun started. We can meet at your favorite coffee shop or at my studio in Highlands Ranch, whatever feels most comfortable for you.
This consultation is a great chance for us to get to know each other and for me to hear all about your vision for your senior session. You’ll also be able to browse sample albums, wall art, and product options. It’s the perfect time to talk through packages, locations, outfits, and everything that will make your session uniquely you.

How do I book?
Booking your senior session starts with a conversation. Fill out the contact form, give me a call, or send me a text and we will chat to make sure we are a good fit. I don’t use automation because it is important for you to have a chance to talk to me first.
From there, we collect a retainer and sign a contract. Most of my seniors schedule their client consultation planning session after signing, but some like to meet in person first. Either way works perfectly.
One thing that sets me apart from larger studios is simple. I am the only photographer. You work directly with me, not a random crew member. That means you get my full talent, experience, and attention from start to finish.

Posing
Confidence, movement, and timeless portraits
Posing is about more than just standing a certain way. I give power to my clients, helping you move naturally and find positions that flatter every figure. Sure, we might snag a few classic hands-on-hips shots, but I focus on creating poses and movements that go beyond industry standards; timeless yet forward-thinking.
Every gesture, every stance, and every glance is guided to make you feel confident, comfortable, and authentically you. This approach ensures that your portraits aren’t just images; they’re moments, memories, and artistry that last well beyond your senior year.

Equipment
Professional tools for portraits that wow
What sets my work apart from a mom with a camera is simple: my gear and how I use it. I shoot with two mirrorless camera bodies, each equipped with dual card slots. That means every single shot has an automatic backup, so nothing is ever lost.
I keep a wide-angle prime lens on one body and a 70-200 zoom lens on the other, giving me the flexibility to capture a variety of shots in just seconds without missing a moment. What really elevates my images, though, is the use of off-camera flash. Starting as a natural light photographer gave me a deep understanding of lighting principles, and professional lighting allows me to create portraits, not snapshots, regardless of time of day or weather.
And if you see the red ring on my L series lenses, that’s your clue that I’m using some of the best glass in the business to capture images that are crisp, vibrant, and timeless.

Products
Heirloom pieces designed just for you
Your senior portraits deserve to live beyond the screen. I custom design wall art, albums, announcements, and more so your images can be enjoyed every day, not just stored in a gallery. Every product is tailored to your style and home, creating keepsakes that feel personal, intentional, and beautifully crafted. Whether you want a statement piece for the living room or a gift for grandparents, I help you select and design artwork that celebrates this moment in a way that lasts.

Locations
Your backdrop, your story
Choosing the right location sets the mood for your senior portraits, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. From golden mountain mornings to city streets, each spot tells a piece of your story and highlights your personality. We can plan carefully for sweeping vistas, cozy urban corners, or dreamy nature scenes. Some of the most striking, art-worthy images happen in unexpected places, even on the side of the road, as is the case of three of the four images above.
Keep scrolling to see examples of some of my favorite locations. If you have a different one in mind for your session, please let me know. I absolutely love exploring new locations and finding the perfect backdrop for your portraits.
Fly’n B Park
Highlands Ranch
Fly’n B is a true gem tucked right into the suburbs. It has everything you’d hope for in a go-to senior location without driving far at all. Think tall grasses glowing in the sun, wooden bridges over water, and those unexpected mountain views that sneak up on you the moment the light hits just right.
This park is full of personality. There’s the classic white farmhouse, pockets of beautifully aged brick throughout the grounds, and even a concrete tunnel that gives us an option for something bold and edgy. The variety here is incredible. We can move from warm, open fields to mountain views with evergreens, giving you a gallery that looks like multiple locations in one.
Fly’n B is also a wonderful spot for your Petite Family Session if you want relaxed, easy charm with lots of visual interest.

Denver Botanic Gardens
Denver
The Denver Botanic Gardens is pure magic for senior portraits. It’s elegant, serene, and bursting with color in every season. If you want a location that feels elevated, artistic, and full of variety, this is it. In one session we can wander from lush tropical plants to sculptural desert cacti to quiet walkways framed with blooming flowers. Every turn creates a new backdrop, each one more stunning than the last.
I maintain an annual photography permit at the Gardens, which means your session fee includes our admission and we can move freely through the grounds without any added hassle. Morning and early evening sessions are ideal here. Mornings offer softer light, fewer crowds, and fewer weddings, giving us a peaceful space to create. And because DBG is beautiful all year long, it’s a standout choice for my Senior Seasons clients who want more than just a summer session.
It’s truly a dream location for seniors who want an elevated experience and a gallery that looks like it came straight out of a magazine.

RiNo Art District
Denver
If you’re craving bold, modern, and full-of-personality portraits, RiNo is your place. The vibrant murals, industrial textures, and ever-changing street art turn every corner into a backdrop with attitude. It’s perfect for seniors who want something creative, urban, and unapologetically unique.
From colorful walls and graphic patterns to brick alleys and metal staircases, RiNo gives us endless options to match your vibe. We can go bright and playful, moody and edgy, or a mix of both. I know all the tucked-away gems, and I’m always scouting new art since murals rotate throughout the year.
Mornings here are quiet and calm which gives us room to explore and create without a crowd. The rest of the day becomes busy and lively with people, restaurants, and events filling the streets which adds energy but can limit movement. Morning and early evening sessions give us the best light and atmosphere.
If vibrant, creative, and city-chic is your vibe, RiNo delivers every time.

Highlands Ranch Mansion
Highlands Ranch
The Highlands Ranch Mansion is a perfect blend of classic Colorado elegance and fairytale charm. With sprawling lawns, stone architecture, towering trees, and carefully manicured gardens, it creates a timeless backdrop that feels elevated without being overly formal. If you love a location that mixes history, beauty, and versatility, the Mansion is a dream.
We can move from sun-drenched paths to dramatic staircases to open fields in just a few steps. The stone walls photograph beautifully in every season, and the variety of textures; stone, wood, ironwork, and greenery, makes your gallery look rich and full without ever leaving the grounds.
The Mansion truly shines in the mornings and early evenings when the light is soft and golden. Mornings tend to be more peaceful with fewer visitors, while evenings give us warm tones and romantic shadows. Both are excellent choices depending on your vision.
It’s also a favorite location later in the year for your included Petite Family Session when you book The Senior package. The open lawns and classic architecture make it a beautiful and easy spot for a quick family update before everyone heads off in different directions.
If you want a location that feels sophisticated, timeless, and effortlessly photogenic, the Highlands Ranch Mansion delivers every single time.

Chautauqua Park
Boulder
Chautauqua Park is iconic Colorado at its absolute best. If you’ve dreamed of senior portraits with sweeping views, rich golden light, and the dramatic Flatirons rising behind you, this location delivers every time. It’s one of the most breathtaking places in the state and perfect for seniors who want something bold, adventurous, and cinematic.
I shoot at Chautauqua in the evenings during golden hour when the light is warm, flattering, and pure magic on the landscape. I also maintain a photography permit here, which allows us to move easily through the permitted areas without any added hassle.
We follow all park guidelines which means we stay on designated trails, and even then the variety is incredible. We can wander along paths lined with wildflowers in June when the blooms are at their absolute peak, or capture soft grasses and open views later in the season. The scenery shifts beautifully with the time of year, and every direction gives us something stunning.
Just across the parking lot is the classic historic park area with stone features, mature shade trees, and wide lawns. It’s a perfect complement to the rugged mountain views and gives your gallery a lovely balance of natural beauty and timeless charm.
If you want portraits that feel like pure Colorado magic with a sweeping, dramatic backdrop and a touch of classic park charm, Chautauqua Park is an unforgettable choice.

Roxborough State Park
Littleton
Roxborough State Park is one of the most iconic and breathtaking locations in Colorado, with its towering red rock formations, dramatic ridgelines, and sweeping desert-meets-mountain scenery. If you’ve been dreaming of senior portraits that feel bold, cinematic, and unmistakably “Colorado,” this location is unforgettable.
Because Roxborough is a protected state park, sessions here come with a few special requirements, but the results are absolutely worth it. This location is only available on weekdays, and the park requires a $100 permit and application fee for each session. The application must be submitted 60 days before your session, so planning ahead is essential. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the park allows us to return within a week using the same permit which means having a little flexibility in your schedule is important too.
We must remain on designated park trails at all times, as off-trail access is not permitted. The good news is that these trails lead us through some of the most stunning landscapes in the state, with soaring sandstone fins, unique textures, and perfect golden light in the evenings. If open fields or tall grasses are part of your dream session, we can easily start at a nearby location like the Fly’n B to capture those soft, glowing field moments before heading into the red rock scenery of Roxborough.
For seniors who want a gallery that feels adventurous, iconic, and beautifully wild, Roxborough State Park is an extraordinary choice.
*Seniors who don’t make the permit deadline, consider beautiful alternatives like South Valley Park, where I already hold a permit, Garden of the Gods, or Red Rocks, all stunning options with iconic Colorado formations.

Garden of the Gods
Colorado Springs
Garden of the Gods is pure Colorado drama in the best possible way. Towering red rock spires, winding trails, open valley views, and that perfect combination of rugged and majestic make it an incredible backdrop for seniors who want portraits that feel bold, adventurous, and unforgettable. Every direction you turn offers something striking.
The mix of sandstone fins, desert textures, and bright open skies gives your gallery a vibrant, iconic look. We can create images that feel grand and sweeping or tuck into quieter corners for something more natural and intimate. It’s a location that works for every style and personality; outdoorsy, artsy, laid back, bold, or anywhere in between.
Because it’s such a popular spot, mornings and early evenings are ideal. Morning light is soft and golden with less chance of inclement weather, while early evening gives us warm glow and beautiful color across the rocks. Both times allow us to navigate the main formations comfortably while still finding serene pockets away from foot traffic.
Most of my seniors who choose Garden of the Gods also love popping over to Manitou Springs. It’s just minutes away and adds a fun, colorful, and artsy contrast to the dramatic red rock landscapes. Between the two areas, you get a gallery with incredible variety in a single session.
Garden of the Gods is also a great option for seniors who can’t make the 60 day permit window for Roxborough. There’s no lengthy permit process, and you still get iconic Colorado scenery with room to explore and create.
If you want portraits that feel vibrant, epic, and unmistakably Colorado, Garden of the Gods is a spectacular choice.

Manitou Springs
Manitou Springs
Manitou Springs is vibrant, quirky, colorful, and full of character which makes it an amazing complement to the dramatic landscapes at Garden of the Gods. If you want a gallery with personality, charm, and a touch of whimsy, this little mountain town delivers in every corner.
Think bright murals, eclectic storefronts, vintage signage, bubbling mineral springs, leafy riverside paths, and pops of color everywhere you turn. It’s the perfect spot for seniors who want something playful, artistic, and fun or anyone who loves a lived-in, small town vibe with tons of texture and visual interest.
We can wander the main street for bold, colorful shots then slip into the quiet side streets and creekside areas for something softer and more relaxed. The variety here is incredible, and the whole area photographs beautifully in mornings and early evenings, when the light is gentle and the crowds are lighter.
Most seniors who choose Garden of the Gods love ending or beginning their session here because the two locations together create a gallery with huge range: epic Colorado landscapes paired with artsy, joyful, personality-filled moments in town.
If you want a session that feels lively, expressive, and full of charm, Manitou Springs is a fantastic (and super fun) choice.

Downtown Littleton
Littleton
Downtown Littleton is one of my favorite spots for seniors who want charm, personality, and tons of variety all within a few walkable blocks. It has that perfect mix of small-town warmth and modern style, giving us everything from colorful storefronts to textured alleyways to leafy side streets that glow in the morning light.
We can start with classic brick walls and cozy café corners, then wander to the historic neighborhoods lined with picket fences, big trees, and soft greenery. There are pops of color everywhere and plenty of unexpected nooks that photograph beautifully. Whether you’re going for sweet and simple or stylish and editorial, Downtown Littleton lets us shift tones effortlessly.
One of the best parts is how close it is to several standout locations. Just a short walk or drive takes us to Jackass Hill for jaw dropping sunsets and mountain views, the War Memorial Rose Garden for soft, enchanting charm, and plenty of open fields, parks, and natural pockets that give us even more variety. It’s easy to create a gallery that looks like multiple locations without ever really leaving the area.
Mornings here are peaceful, quiet, and full of dreamy light. Evenings bring beautiful glow and a little more bustle, but mornings tend to give us the most freedom to wander without crowds or busy streets.
If you want a session that feels relaxed, inviting, and full of character, Downtown Littleton is a perfect match and one of the most versatile spots in the south metro area.

Downtown Littleton Collection
Sterne Park • Jackass Hill • War Memorial Rose Garden • Rollin D. Barnard Equestrian Park
If you love variety without having to travel far, this cluster of locations in and around Downtown Littleton is perfect. Each spot offers something unique, and together they create a well-rounded gallery with tons of visual interest.
Sterne Park gives you a classic, clean park aesthetic with tall trees, water, and open grassy areas.
Jackass Hill brings the sweeping overlook, beautiful golden-hour views of the Front Range and a natural hillside landscape.
The War Memorial Rose Garden is a dream for seniors who want soft, floral tones and a more polished, garden-inspired look.
Rollin D. Barnard Equestrian Park offers an entirely different vibe with rustic fencing, cottonwoods, and shallow creeks that are perfect for wading or walking through for fun, candid shots.
All four of these areas are within a few minutes of each other, making it easy to mix and match based on your vision. Downtown Littleton ties it all together with charming alleys and textured backdrops; great for outfit changes or adding something a little more modern to your session.

Morrison Park
Morrison
Morrison Park is a lush, green oasis tucked right at the edge of the foothills. It's vibrant, peaceful, and full of beautifully shaded pockets, open grassy areas, and a winding creek that photographs wonderfully. It’s an easy, relaxed setting with tons of natural charm.
Lighting here is fantastic: mornings are truly incredible, with soft, glowing light filtering through the trees, and evenings also deliver beautifully, especially in late summer and early fall.
While the park itself is green and wooded, Red Rocks and the town of Morrison are just minutes away, making it simple to add a quick second look with rustic textures or iconic views if that fits your vision.
Morrison Park is perfect for seniors who want a nature-forward session without crowds, long walks, or harsh midday light; just a calm, picturesque backdrop in one of the prettiest little pockets of the foothills.

Red Rocks
Morrison
Red Rocks offers one of the most iconic and instantly recognizable backdrops in all of Colorado. I do not photograph inside the amphitheater itself, but the surrounding areas are full of incredible views, bold red formations, winding trails, and beautiful open spaces that frame the rocks perfectly in the background.
I shoot here in the early morning or early evening, when the light is soft and flattering and the crowds are lighter. Morning sessions in particular have a peaceful glow that enhances the warm tones in the landscape.
There is some walking and mild elevation, so comfortable shoes are a must, but every step is worth it. The variety we can create in a single session is amazing, from sweeping vistas to tucked-away pockets of greenery.
Red Rocks also pairs beautifully with a quick stop in the town of Morrison if you want a mix of lush, green scenery to complement the dramatic rock formations.
Bold, classic, and unmistakably Colorado, Red Rocks is a stunning choice for senior portraits.

The Town of Morrison
Morrison
The town of Morrison is one of the most charming and character filled spots on my location list. It’s full of fun and playful buildings, colorful alleyways, aged brick, southwest inspired stucco, and a touch of mountain town charm that makes every corner a backdrop. There’s even a short stretch of disconnected train track that gives you that iconic shot in a way that is completely safe and legal.
I love photographing here in the mornings, when the light dances through the trees and everything feels calm and inviting. Evenings are beautiful too, adding warmth and depth to the tones and textures throughout town.
One of my favorite little traditions is stopping at The Cow during our shoot for a malt and French fries. It adds a fun, spontaneous moment and looks adorable in photos if you want to capture something more playful.
Morrison doesn’t mimic the red rock look, but it pairs perfectly with it. Many seniors choose to start in town to capture its charm and then head to Red Rocks for those classic Colorado views. Together, they give you a session with variety, personality, and a whole lot of visual interest.

Mount Falcon East
Morrison
Mount Falcon East is a breathtaking spot for seniors who want those wide open Colorado views without heading deep into the mountains. The landscape here is dotted with scrub oak, rolling hills, and rugged foothill rock formations that create a backdrop that feels airy, classic, and unmistakably Colorado.
Mornings are my favorite at this location. The golden light pours across the hills in the softest, dreamiest way, giving your portraits a warm glow that feels straight out of a magazine. Evenings are beautiful as well, but golden hour is brief, with the foothills blocking the sun earlier than you’d expect, so timing is key.
This spot is perfect for meadows, foothill views, and clean natural light. If you’re dreaming of portraits in the pine trees, we can absolutely do that too, but you’ll need to be up for a workout. The pines are a long hike in, and totally doable for the right senior. If that doesn’t sound fun, we can look at scheduling at Mount Falcon West toward Bailey, which is a longer drive but offers a completely different vibe with pines much more accessible.
The trails here allow us to create a mix of editorial portraits and sweeping Colorado moments while still staying on designated paths to help preserve the area. If you’re after a natural, serene, truly Colorado look, Mount Falcon East is a beautiful choice.

Summit County Collection
Keystone • Breckenridge • Loveland Pass • Dillon • Frisco
If wide open mountain views, sparkling lakes, and alpine charm feel like your happy place, Summit County is the dream location for your senior session. This area is incredibly diverse, offering everything from pine forests and wildflower fields to dramatic peaks and serene waterfronts. Keystone, Breckenridge, Dillon, and Frisco each bring their own personality, and I’m lucky enough to have a second home here which means I’m always excited for an excuse to head to the mountains.
Summit County gives you that true Colorado mountain feel without driving hours into the high country. We can chase light along lake shores, wander through tree-lined paths, or find quiet pockets of golden grasses set against breathtaking backdrops. Morning sessions are peaceful and beautifully lit, while evenings often bring the most magical alpenglow.
This location is perfect for seniors who want something elevated, adventurous, or simply different from the typical suburban session. Whether you want polished editorial moments or candid mountain magic, Summit County delivers every single time. Let me know if this is on your wish list and we’ll plan the perfect day in the mountains.

Carson Nature Center
Littleton
Carson Nature Center is a beautiful blend of nature, trails, water, and wide open spaces. With winding paths, wooden bridges, tall grasses, and pockets of shade, it offers a stunning mix of textures that photograph effortlessly. The South Platte River weaves through the area, giving us peaceful spots along the water, plus plenty of room for both polished portraits and playful movement.
Many of my seniors love to pair this spot with Downtown Littleton or Aspen Grove, starting with an urban or modern look and then ending the session in nature for soft, golden portraits. Carson Nature Center also surprises us with wildflowers in the summer, adding colorful pops that elevate your images even more.
Mornings here glow with gentle light filtering through the trees, while evenings bring warmth across the fields. It is an ideal location for seniors who want a natural look without traveling far, and perfect for mixing editorial posing with relaxed, candid moments.
With its river views, open fields, seasonal blooms, and classic Colorado landscape, Carson Nature Center offers variety, serenity, and beauty all in one place.

Golden
Golden is the perfect blend of Colorado charm and adventure, making it an amazing spot for senior portraits. With Clear Creek running right through town, rustic bridges, mountain views, and lush riverbanks, we get a beautiful mix of nature and classic Colorado scenery all in one place.
The historic downtown area brings a fun, laid-back vibe with colorful storefronts, textured brick walls, murals, and charming side streets that add personality to every shot. We can wander from the water to the heart of town within minutes, giving your gallery a ton of variety without ever feeling rushed.
Mornings in Golden are peaceful with soft light along the creek and quieter streets, while evenings bring warm tones and a lively energy. Whether you’re dreaming of playful creekside photos, modern urban vibes, or something perfectly in between, Golden delivers.
It’s a favorite for seniors who want that true Colorado feel; mountains, water, charm, and a little adventure, all in one session.

Lookout Mountain
Golden
Lookout Mountain is a stunning choice for seniors who want those classic Colorado views without going too far. With sweeping mountain backdrops, rugged rock formations, and winding overlooks, it’s the kind of place that instantly feels peaceful, scenic, and a little bit magical.
I love shooting here in both the morning and evening. Mornings are warm and golden with softer light and a lower chance of unpredictable mountain weather, making them an ideal choice. Evenings, on the other hand, boast incredible sunsets that paint the whole landscape in rich, dramatic color.
We can hop between overlooks, pine-lined trails, and open spaces within minutes, giving your gallery a mix of epic wide shots and natural, relaxed portraits. The light here, no matter the time of day, always brings your images to life.
Lookout Mountain is perfect for seniors who want that “on top of the world” feel in their photos, with timeless Colorado scenery and a touch of adventure.

Vail
Eagle County
Vail is an absolute dream for seniors who want a mix of mountain luxury, charming village backdrops, and Colorado’s iconic alpine beauty. With cobblestone walkways, European-inspired architecture, flowing rivers, and evergreen-covered peaks, every corner of Vail feels like a postcard waiting to be captured.
We can wander through Vail Village for colorful storefronts, flower-lined paths, textured stone walls, and cozy alpine nooks that give your portraits an elevated, storybook feel. Just steps away, the river and bridges offer peaceful natural moments, while nearby meadows and sweeping mountain views bring that classic Colorado magic.
Both mornings and evenings photograph beautifully here. Mornings are fresh, quiet, and softly lit, perfect for crisp, elegant portraits. Evenings glow with warm alpenglow and a lively village energy, giving your gallery plenty of variety.
I also host an exclusive Vail weekend every late September, perfectly timed for peak fall colors. This special offering is extremely limited and always fills quickly, making it a truly unforgettable experience for seniors who want those golden aspens and mountain magic.
For portraits that feel elevated, adventurous, and timeless, Vail is a stunning and unforgettable choice.

Chatfield Farms
Littleton
Chatfield Farms is a gorgeous blend of gardens, open fields, rustic charm, and mountain-backed scenery, making it a beautiful and versatile option for senior portraits. With vibrant flowers, tree-lined paths, textured wooden fences, blooming meadows, and pockets of tall grasses, this location offers that soft, romantic Colorado feel with tons of visual variety.
I hold a photography permit here, which gives us full access to explore the grounds during regular hours. The farms close at 4pm, so it isn’t a sunset location, but it shines in the morning. The early light is gentle, glowy, and perfect for capturing fresh, luminous portraits among the gardens and fields.
From colorful floral pathways to wide-open natural spaces to rustic little nooks, Chatfield Farms is ideal for seniors who want a nature-forward look with a touch of garden beauty and Colorado charm. It’s peaceful, relaxed, and full of hidden gems that photograph beautifully in every season.

Denver Center of Performing Arts
Denver
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is a bold, modern choice for seniors who love a clean, artistic, and architectural vibe. With dramatic lines, tall glass windows, metal structures, stairways, and plenty of interesting angles, this spot creates portraits that feel sleek, stylish, and a little bit editorial.
One of the best features of this location is the iconic outdoor canopy. It beautifully diffuses sunlight, allowing us to shoot here all day, and it provides shelter from inclement weather, making it one of the most reliable downtown options. The entire area also has great walkability, giving us easy access to nearby streets, alleys, and urban textures throughout downtown Denver.
Both mornings and evenings photograph beautifully. Mornings offer softer light and quieter pathways, while evenings bring vibrant downtown energy and glowing reflections off surrounding buildings.

You can shoot here any time of day, and there’s always a fresh look around the corner. Mornings are calm and glowy with fewer people, while evenings bring that vibrant city atmosphere with reflections, lights, and movement that make portraits feel alive.

It’s one of Denver’s most beloved parks for a reason. Every direction you turn offers beautiful light, clean backgrounds, and timeless scenery.
We can wander through tree-lined walkways, find quiet pockets of greenery, or use the pavilion for bright, airy portraits with gorgeous architecture and perfect natural reflectors. It’s simple, stunning, and incredibly versatile.
